Day 19 – Disrespecting your parents.
Simple, you don’t. Nothing wrong with having a bit of fun and pointing out their foibles and idiosyncrasies either in their presence or when discussing them with your siblings or very close friends but when it comes down to it, blood is thicker than water (whatever that means) and family comes first.
My biggest tete-a-tete with my teenage daughter is about respect.
Manners cost nothing but are priceless to have, treat others as you wish to be treated in return.
I owe more than just the miracle of life to my parents, they get my full respect.
