Day 10 – My all time favourite gig
I have been to so many and all of them were good in their own way but this blog is about what is making my ears tingle at the moment so I think the one that was most memorable in recent months is when I went to see Juke Baritone at a pub in Brixton, London.

The whole day was awesome, we travelled down in the sunshine in ‘Carmen’ my classic Volkswagen Karmann Ghia with my favourite songs playing on the original Blaupunkt FM radio, via my iPod and iTrip FM transmitter, stopped off for a picnic on the way at the side of the road in a village somewhere only for it to be next to a Jazz Festival, so we had lovely live jazz playing while we ate and relaxed, visited Hampton Court and got lost in the maze before heading over to Brixton. Watched Usain Bolt break the world record in the 100m on the pub TV amongst a predominantly Jamaican crowd who were beyond delighted, had drinks with the bands that were playing (it was an all day event), watched the band play up close and personal and then drove home through the centre of London. It was a great day.
