Day 2 – Your first day at school
I apparently insisted on wearing my school uniform, including short trousers and a cap only to discover that it was no longer compulsory and on my very first day at school I was the only kid in uniform.
My allocated buddy for my first day was Barry who lived next door but one to my parents so I had already met him and that made it easier but to be honest I was a complete daydreamer at that age, granted I would have been in my own little world but I think I would have been fine on my own.
