Bolsover Castle, Derbyshire, England – Another historic site I used to manage.
Formerly a medieval fortress built by the Peverel family. The wealthy Sir Charles Cavendish – who already owned several other great mansions, including one only a few miles away – bought the old fortress in 1612 and began work on his Little Castle project. It is open to the public and managed by English Heritage

Visited this Castle once lovely architecture indeed.Off to Dover next week for work and guna squeeze in a visit to Dover Castle 🙂
Dover is a fantastic Castle, especially some of its more interesting history.
