Kenilworth Castle

Kenilworth Castle, Warwickshire, England – Another historic site I used to manage.

One of England’s great historical sites. A royal castle for much of its almost 900 year history now a series of outstanding medieval and Renaissance structures. The ruins are best known as the home of Robert Dudley the Earl of Leicester, the great love of Queen Elizabeth I. Dudley created an ornate palace at Kenilworth to impress his Queen in 1575. It is open to the public and managed by English Heritage
