Wollaton Hall is a fabulous Elizabethan Mansion built in 1558 by Lord Middleton, surrounded by a 500 acre deer park only 3 miles from Nottingham City center. Home to Nottingham’s natural history museum and has recently been featured as a location in the Batman movie, Dark Knight Returns. It is open to the public and managed by Nottingham City Museums
